SyncJe for BlackBerry wirelessly synchronizes your BlackBerry Contacts, Calendar and Tasks with SyncML servers.
Set it up once, and forget about it, your BlackBerry syncs wirelessly, and automatically. Synchronizing also backs up your information, so you are safe if your BlackBerry is lost.

- Scheduleworld: A free hosted SyncML server, which can be used for mobile devices and your PC to synchronise contact information, notes, task lists, and calendar information.
- Mobical: A free hosted SyncML server, allowing you to sync your calendar, notes, task lists and contact information.

- 1 Year Technical Support: Technical support is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week via Email, Chat, and Phone.
Can I sync my PC's contact information with BlackBerry, or between multiple mobile devices or PCs?
Yes. SyncJe plug-ins are available for multiple mobile devices and PC applications such as MS Outlook, Outlook Express and Lotus Notes.
A bundled SyncJe license package for both Outlook and your BlackBerry is available at the top of this page. Please be aware that some servers may not allow synchronization with multiple clients without additional fees. We recommend contacting your server support to ensure this is possible.
Can I sync my email using SyncJe?
SyncJe does not sync emails, because your BlackBerry already has this functionality.
The BlackBerry has revolutionlized the smartphone market, mostly due to its push email capabilities. You can now setup and synchronize up to 10 email accounts on your BlackBerry, including Yahoo! Mail, Gmail, and Hotmail email accounts. Premier email services providers, telecom, and cable companies are also bringing the BlackBerry push email to their customers, so chances are very good that whatever email service you use, you can already sync it with your BlackBerry.

What is a SyncML server and why do I need one?
SyncJe for BlackBerry needs to communicate with a SyncML-compatible server for synchronization to work. The SyncML server is "Always On", and acts as a bridge between your BlackBerry, and the computer you want to sync with. It stores the latest updates of your information and makes sure that your BlackBerry and computer are both up to date.
What is SyncML?
SyncML (Synchronization Markup Language), is an industry-wide effort to create a single, common data synchronization protocol optimized for wireless networks. SyncML's goal is to have networked data that support synchronization with any mobile device, and mobile devices that support synchronization with any networked data. The SyncML structured data layer will use XML wherever appropriate. SyncML is intended to work on transport protocols as diverse as HTTP, WSP (part of WAP) and OBEX, and with data formats ranging from personal data (e.g. vCard & vCalendar) to relational data and XML documents. [1]

SyncJe for BlackBerry 3.0 BETA
|
 |
SyncJe for BlackBerry 3.0 BETA has all of the benefits of version 2, and introduces two new features:
- Custom Setup: This feature will be most useful to SyncML server providers, the administrators of educational institutions, and companies who have large scale deployments of SyncJe for BlackBerry. It allows for you to customize SyncJe for BlackBerry to use the optimal settings for your server, making setup easy for your users. When a user downloads your version of SyncJe for BlackBerry, they only have to enter their license key, username and password. The server URL, folders, auto sync, and other settings are all setup for them already.
- MultiSession: This setting will have SyncJe for BlackBerry use a separate sync session for each folder being synchronized. Wireless connections are not always reliable, this setting means that if your connection is interrupted during a sync, only that folder will have to be repeated, instead of all folders.
Why is version 3 being called a "Beta"?
SyncJe for BlackBerry version 3 includes all of the functionality of version 2, plus two new features. In order to bring these exciting new features, as well as the future features planned, we have had to discontinue support for older BlackBerry devices. The new and planned features rely on device capabilities not available in older BlackBerries. Since there are still a significant number of BlackBerries in circulation that will not be able to run this version of SyncJe, we are keeping version 2 as he main version, for now.
Which BlackBerries are compatible with SyncJe for BlackBerry 3.0?
SyncJe for BlackBerry version 3 has the following requirements:
- BlackBerry OS 4.2.x: MultiSession, and all features of version 2 are fully functional. Due to lack of capability in this BlackBerry OS version, Custom Setup configuration settings will not be installed on these devices. The client will install with all settings fields as blank, instead of the custom settings. All BlackBerry models starting with an 8xxx, which includes all BlackBerry Curve, 8830, and Pearl, fall into this category.
- BlackBerry OS 4.3 or greater: MultiSession, Custom Setup, and all features of version 2 are fully functional. Custom Setup configuration settings will be installed on these devices. Currently, some of the newer BlackBerry Curve and Pearl models, as well as the new BlackBerry Bold (9000) fall into this category. This category will expand with time.
How can I check if my BlackBerry is compatible?
SyncJe for BlackBerry is compatible with any BlackBerry running OS 4.2 or greater.
To check your BlackBerry OS version on your BlackBerry:
- 1. Go to the "Options" application.
- 2. Go to "About"
- 3. Check your BlackBerry OS version number, like in this example:
What are the risks to upgrading to version 3 Beta?
There are no risks to trying out version 3 Beta. It is fully functional, including the 15 day trial period. You can try it out, and if it does not work for your BlackBerry, simply reinstall SyncJe for BlackBerry version 2.
How do I setup my own custom version, and can Nexthaus host it for me?
